Speech Impediment / Stutter

 

Case History 

Background

Client: Mark
Male
Age 74

In the late 90’s Mark was playing golf when he found himself unable to hit the ball. Over the next five years he had similar attacks on other occasions that have been diagnosed as Transient Ischaemic Attacks (TIA) and Strokes. He has not had an attack in 5 years however over this period he has experienced debilitating post-trauma symptoms. 

Post-Trauma Symptoms

For the last 5 years his eye vision has deteriorated and in the last 3 years he has experienced a constant and increasing speech impediment. This has caused major psychological and emotional distress, which has made him very conscious of socialising with people because of how they would react. This causes frustration, low self-esteem, low spirit, concentration difficulties, depression, and inability to read/write, stress, anxiety and poor mental focus. 

Observations Pre-Bioenergy Healing Treatment 

When I first met Mark in August 2009 he was unable to hold a conversation let alone complete a sentence. The words just wouldn’t come out and the frustration just became too much for him. He would just turn to his wife and she would have to speak on his behalf. This turned out to be the normal cycle, she literally became his speech box and he would just add the odd word into the conversation, if he could get beyond the stutter.

Mark had become very introvert and wouldn’t leave the house unless he had to, although he felt more at ease with close family. The cardiologists and doctors had no solution. This was a physical side affect that wasn’t going to get better. All the doctors wanted to do was give him anti-depressants.

Bioenergy Healing Treatment

Bioenergy Healing treatment started in August. Having taken Mark’s medical history from his wife I was able to explain that I didn’t have to discuss with Mark the issues, causes, past experiences or even how we were going to move forward. This was a relief for him not having to go through cognitive treatment. 

Having explained how Bioenergy Healing treatment was able to release memory patterns on both psychological and physical levels, his face lit up, he was excited. I also explained that I was convinced even though the specialists felt otherwise that his symptoms were not just physical but were entwined on a psychological level. 

Mark came to the clinic for his first appointment, and arranged to do future 1-2-1 Distance Healing Sessions as he lived outside of London. He immediately started to experience shifts after his 2nd appt. 

Following are extracts from his notes:

26 Aug	Lot more enthusiastic about doing things. Can go out on his own for the first time and speak/mix with people. His wife thought this was amazing. He has started to read a book for the 1st time in years.
3 Sept	Feels happy, wants to do things, not feeling sorry for himself. Still reading. This week not so keen on socialising. Gaining more fluidity with words. Aware he wants to turn thoughts more positive and active.
11 Sept	Able to do much more including gardening. Went on holiday, which he for once was able to enjoy. His wife noticed he was having some really good days.
16 Sept	Speech variable, feels happier in himself. Can get annoyed when can’t get his words out, more sociable, more keen to meet people.
23 Sept	Doing very well. Friends said he is more confident. Speech improving more. His wife reported that he is back to his old self! Started to be able to read the newspaper.
30 Sept	Speech good for a consistent 2-3 days at a time. A friend put a bit of doubt in him about progress, which caused him to question progress. Sleeping a bit restless. Confidence good. Will now go to the shops or meets his friends. His wife reports he is not so depressed and he is taking more interest in things.
6 Oct	Happier. Can be a bit lost mentally – a bit vacant.
14 Oct	Few doubts about progress as set his targets are very high, on one level he wants to be symptom free as he was before the Transient Ischaemic Attacks (TIA) and Strokes. Re-assured him that it is naturally to go through different thought patterns at different stages of treatment. He did however report that he had improvements for 3 consistent days. Friends thought he could talk better and was able to go out without his wife. Realisation that he had become too reliant on his wife doing things for him.
20 Oct	Feeling good. Only 1 bad day. When I spoke to him he sounded like a new man.
28 Oct	Both he and his wife are really happy. His voice was very clear when I spoke to him.

Observation of Bioenergy Healing Treatment

Mark has moved out of his depression. He and his wife are aware that there is nothing permanent about his post-trauma symptoms, which defies what the doctors and specialists had stated. Because Mark did not have to go through any cognitive therapy he didn’t get caught up with the frustrations of talking about his life, issues and illness. 

Bioenergy Healing has released the memory patterns on a psychological level, which in turn has brought order on a physical level that has relieved his speech impediment. What is very apparent from symptoms like Mark’s is that once they start they soon speed out of control, as he gets caught up in a loop with no way back. Symptoms, fears and frustration escalate. He couldn’t see outside of who he had become and it had been a downhill run for the last 5 years. 

What quality of life could he and wife look forward to? In Mark’s case, as his wife said, “He is back to his old self”. This is great, but as I explained to them it’s not so much ‘his old self‘ but more the fact that he is ‘a new man’. He is alive again and they have a brighter future to look forward to.
